Yes, all of it. Ask in plain English to add a chart, switch a chart type, group by week instead of month, or rearrange the layout, and Basedash updates the dashboard in place. You can also drag and resize charts, add tabs, section headers, and markdown text blocks, or open any chart and edit its SQL directly. Organize dashboards into folders and favorite the ones you open most.

Filters are dashboard-level controls that pass values into each chart's SQL. Ask for revenue over time and Basedash adds a date range; mention a region, a plan, or a customer and it creates a list or record filter. Charts that use a variable with the same name share one control, so one date range updates every chart at once. You can set default values, allow multiple selections, mark a filter as required, and choose which filters show on a public dashboard.

Every 15 minutes by default, and you can change the interval to match how fast the underlying data moves. Charts run their queries against your connected database or warehouse, so each refresh shows the data as it is at that moment rather than a copy from the last export. SaaS sources synced into Basedash Warehouse are as fresh as their latest sync.

Each dashboard has four access levels: full access, can edit, can view, and no access. Grant them to the whole organization, to groups, or to individual members from the share menu, and when someone matches several grants the most specific one applies. The creator always keeps full access. Admins can also set the default for new dashboards, for example creator only, or the creator's groups with view access.

Turn on the public link in the share menu. It creates a view-only URL that anyone can open without a Basedash account, and you choose its color theme; Enterprise plans can also hide Basedash branding. To send a dashboard on a schedule instead, subscribe email recipients or a Slack channel, and Basedash delivers a snapshot of every chart daily, on weekdays, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

Yes. Export the whole dashboard to PDF from the menu next to its name, or right-click any chart to export its data as CSV, JSON, or Excel. Exports contain the raw query results, so formatting you see in Basedash, like currency symbols or date formats, may not carry over. If a dashboard or chart is deleted by mistake, you can restore it from Recently deleted for 30 days.
